| Small two roomed pub at the bottom of the old Trench canal incline on the banks of the Trench Pool . Small comfortable lounge and a small narrow bar with a raised area at one end for darts . 3 handpulls in each room , Bankss Original , Marstons Bitter and a guest beer , the Original is exellent . This is the last proper pub in Trench a real locals local . The name comes from the Pig Iron that was transported from the nearby ironworks on the canal . trenchlad - 1 Jun 2009 20:08 |
