user reviews of the Graziers Inn, Wakefield

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The Graziers was our second pub of the evening on Friday, following the Robin Hood Inn at Altofts (I have requested this to be added to the site). Whilst not quite as good as the Robin Hood, the Graziers is a popular community local. Rugby League was showing on the TV and a few were playing pool in one section. There are 3 separate areas and an outdoor area used by smokers. Ales were John Smiths Cask, Abbeydale Moonshine, Belhaven Bridge To Nowhere, Theakston Old Peculier & Timothy Taylor Landlord.

Friendly pub, nice atmosphere. Always a few real ales and nice food. Large kids play area outside but its not a child-infested wacky warehouse type.

Still lots of spoort on. It's spot on. Sumptous Victorian boozer with pool table and seperate drinking areas, Beers are GK at 1.80, Deuchars IPA which was 2.25 last week but 2.80 this week and a bit sour arse. Decent Old Peculiar which is good to see, cheap at 2.80 and in good nick.

Going back a few years now, but there was a lovely bar maid and sports on!
Lots of pics of wakey wildcats and a nice atmosphere during (footie)matches,
Nice, but as I said a few years ago...
