Have been here a few times and it has improved immensely since the first visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the toilets clean and tidy. A very good selection of real ales on tap and a nice outside seating area. A good way to start the day.

First pub of the day and one of the two that appears in the 2017 GBG.

Our group of 4 arrived here just after 12 noon and the place was quite busy, though as the bar area is small it doesn’t take many punters to fill it up.

5 ales on the hand pumps , my choice of Mighty Oak’s Maldon Gold @ 3.8% was very good, in addition to the ales on cask there’s 1 real cider which was Weston’s Old Rosie.

Music playing and the tv was showing a news channel and was on silent. A nice place with good ales and a good one to start in.

Returned to this pub to find it now has music and was full of under 30's. Still a good selection of beer but too noisy to have a decent conversation. Suspect that the owners are happy as far more busy than last time I visited.

This pub is at the back of a fish & chip shop! Recently opened, it has a good selection of beers, though a little pricey & sells lovely fish & chips!

Definately worth a visit.
