user reviews of the Starling, Pinner

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I used to frequent this place when it was a pub and it was great at the time. Unfortunately the powers that be decided to try and extend the opening hours which the neighbours objected to as they feared it would create extra noise.
Now it is called Sync and has karaoke playing which probably creates more noise than when it was a pub. The Starling would have done better to provide good food which is the way things have gone with most pubs now. I miss the Starling as it was a very relaxing Pub and you could relax and watch the world go by outside in the beer garden. This was a lovely old pub which a lot of local people enjoyed and still miss.

Now retitled 'SYNC' whatever that is meant to signify. Seems to have an indian type cuisine. Probably no decent beer. Didn't go in this time around because put off by the urchins hovering around outside. Agree, a complete waste of a prime site as it is well located and looks like it might have been a decent pub in its time.

For better or worse, currently closed. Appears to be undergoing a transformation into something new. Time will tell if that is a good thing or not.

Shameful waste of a prime location. Looks very seventies inside, no decent beer. Staff were freindly enough. Won't be rushing back!

No real ales, no food, no atmosphere, no idea.
