Clearly a refurbishment has occurred and it's great to see the pub brought back to life. They have an affordable ale brought in and the bright and airy ambiance makes for an appropriate place to while away a few hours.

Went there today, 15/05/2016, people there are incredibly nice, food was great, really enjoyed it. I had the Bruschetta and fish.

This is Probabably the only pub left in Islington which is a real shame (I don't think the locals know how lucky they are) however this is a great little pub tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Angel and Caledonian Road, great food especially the Sunday roast. Clean, Friendly and a fantastic function room for small family get togethers or work meetings.‎
