| I first visited this pub yesterday. The new manager is trying, successfully, to create a clean, pleasant area for drinking and chatting – not noisy. There are 3 draught beers on and, I noticed 3 beers from the Czech Budvar brewery. The ales were all in top condition (much better than in the nearby Charles Dickens, which we visited next). We didn’t eat, but the menu, and the wine list, looked interesting, I’d suggest checking this place out. CLARKEY - 12 Sep 2013 12:59 |
| Super pub, three real ales which tonight are Fyne Ales Creel Ale and Jarl and Windsor and Eton Guardsman. CAMRA discount but not obvious and you will need to ask.
