| TROUBLESOME PUB ALWAYS FIGHTING AMONG THE TRAVELLERS THAT FREQUENT THEN PLACE. ELDERLEY LANDLADY JUST LETS THEM GET ON WITH IT. | Dreadfully downtrodden, shabby interior, smelly and dog-earred. A pity, because I've previously had good experiences in here, but my last was not so. The beer was putrid and the air was rancid from stale smoke drifting in from the door to the smoking area. I shall continue to pop in every now and again out of sheer optimism, but I wouldn't recommend this pub just at the moment, especially when there are better pubs (in every respect) within a few minutes' walk. Rude bar maid huffing and puffing everytime someone wanted a drink and she had to stop selecting songs from the jukebox. R.Pomphrey - 19 Nov 2012 14:26 |
| Terrible bar maid, first and last time we would ever go there. She clearly was off her face on drink or drungs, constantly f. saking and using foul language. And she looked like she had just got out of bed. Terrible, and sad in times where pubs are struggling that staff behave like this.
