Not much has changed since my last visit - the Hobsons has now been replaced with Wye Valley Butty Bach (which was average/good and cost £4.50) and they no longer sell Doom Bar. Enjoyed my Sunday roast (£24 for 2 courses).

Bigger and better than the other pub in the village (although there's not a lot in it). My initial disappointment at seeing Doom Bar at one end of the bar was assuaged by seeing Wye Valley HPA and Hobsons Best at the other. At £3 for the Hobsons (did they charge us correctly?), it was a good value pint but perhaps not quite as clear as ones I've had down the road.

Now the miserable so and so who once ran the Corners has gone , the new owners have turned the Corners into one of the best pub / restaurants for miles around. Good beer and fantastic steaks well worth a visit.

A pleasant pub with excellent accomodation and a warm welcome. Real ale (Hobsons) was not quite as bright as I would have liked, but I had three pints so it can't have been that bad! Bar food was good. Shouty old blokes still there but not annoying and a good way to catch up on local gossip. Nice surprise in the morning: the landlady had noticed that we had only been given one bath towel and knocked 10 off the bill.

Popped in for a drink a few times here and always enjoyed it. I like the bar and how it is decorated. Never packed or busy. Noticed the restaurant had been going down in numbers for a while, but my last visit was a few months back. I'd love it for a local.
