| Only know this from the canalside, situated next to a lock on the leeds/liverpool canal. Plesesant enough to sit outside, but speaking to a local they were telling me that its situated in q quiet part of town and had struggled in the past, but it looks quite good considering it had been closed for a while. | Canalside pub in a quiet part of town. Recently closed down and refurbished, and now attracts mainly regulars and diners on Sunday for the cheap lunches. Two unremarkable, pretty spartan rooms served by a central bar. The back one has a pool table. Real ale limited to Jennings Bitter which is usually kept well.
