| A quirky corner pub not far from the railway station. A very different selection of beers on offer most I hadn't heard of. I would like to have given this place a higher rating but with the ridiculous pricing and lack of atmosphere I'm afraid I can't. 5/10 montie49 - 2 Aug 2019 18:38 |
| Appears the landlord has over axagerrated sense of self importance and has been loosing custom because of it. Pity really but only time will tell. Reports of his surly, unfriendly attitude and thinking the place is some swanky bar above its station will reinforce this. Go up the road to The Crown. | A tiny old fashioned back street boozer full of bric-a-brac. The pub has a small loyal following of regulars, seemingly ever changing guest ales which are gas assisted dispense.
