| We [4 thirsty lads ] visited this drinker in early May 2012. We had been on a boat cruising the Warks Ring. The rain was belting down so we decided to moor up overnight . We found a very pleasant pint indeed, sorry I cant remember what it was ! But we enjoyed quite a few of them ! Then a girl came out and lit the fire for us, so we enjoyed quite a few more. We did not eat at this pub so cannot comment on the food .I had one last pint and rolled back to the boat to cook supper. I am planning to cruise Warks Ring again next May , and will endeavour to visit this drinker again ,should we pass it by at opening time. oldbob - 24 Jun 2012 15:17 |
| Worst pub I've ever been to. Some people are born to work in the hospitality industry. The manageress of this dump most definitely wasn't. Menus made of dog-eared A4 paper that were all tatty. The food that followed was bordering on offensive. Beef that was grey and the texture of blotting paper. Service appalling, and the rudest, vilest manageress I've ever had the misfortune to meet. Suffice to say, we will NOT be returning. I strongly recommend you give this hell-hole a wide berth. dixienel - 3 Jan 2010 20:15 |
