A return visit for a delicious Sunday lunch again. Would recommend eating here as the beer is not too exciting on its own (though perfectly drinkable and Cask Marque). Alscot Ale now £3.35 and one from JW Lees at £3.50 (which I noted as 3.8% and an IPA but I can't seem to find one similar on the brewer's website). paul_d102 - 6 Apr 2014 16:00 |
Enjoyed a very nice Sunday lunch yesterday in a very busy pub and then stood outside to watch the Olympic Torch go through the village. Expensive food at just over 20 for 2 courses but it was delicious and there was plenty of it. I think the Alscot Ale is now 3.10. paul_d102 - 2 Jul 2012 19:47 |
Extremely Laura Ashley/shabby chic. The Warwickshire Beer Company's Alscot Ale was very nice at just 2.95 per pint. Doom Bar & Robinson's Flagon cider also available. paul_d102 - 7 May 2012 17:45 |
having recently added 4 bb rooms the bell has always been a favourite place for us to eat fresh local and exceptional fare. the decor and garden patio with views are impossible to match and great to ride in from straftord-upon-avon only 4 miles away...... so this time we decided to stay over...wow we couldnt believe the standard and style of our suite with a bath tub below the window in the bedroom, his and her showers and a sitting room i want to live in. as good as it gets for two bb at 145 for the penthouse. go see this place. michaelmontredmond - 29 Jun 2010 14:54 |
