A smart gastropub that is not really suited for the drinker. Purity UBU was the sole cask ale at £3.55 per pint. paul_d102 - 30 Mar 2013 21:24 |
We went with a group of 5 for Satuday lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed the Baraset. The interior decor is very modern and comfortable, and we were warmly and promptly welcomed. I could have stayed all week and eaten my way through the menu which was offerd a good choice of interesting dishes, including Chef's specials. Good wine selection too, and all at a reasonable price. If I were being picky I would say the Gents toilet was not terribly clean, but otherwise we enjoyed the whole experience. rogwin - 1 Aug 2010 08:03 |
Poncey food. Insane prices. Poncey wine bar look. Pretentious staff. Nouvelle cuisine (for those that don't know, this means tiny portions of mediocre food presented in a way thats more akin to a design on a plate to take your attention away from the fact that you're being ripped off with medium grade food cooked below par). This isn't a pub, it's just a restaurant that just happens to have a bar licence. Oh and if you want a drink you'll then be financially raped for a cab to get away from there. snert - 28 Aug 2008 13:46 |
