HAVING DRIVEN PAST HERE NUMEROUS TIMES I DECIDED TO DROPPED IN FOR
A PINT 27/OCT/10. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE ONCE INSIDE. FAR BETTER
THAN I EXPECTED, CLEAN AND VERY TIDY, GOOD CASK ALE A 2.80 A PINT. I DID
DO EAT BUT MENU LOOKED GOOD. THE LANDLORD VERY FRIENDLY BUT THE
ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE PLACE WAS EMPTY, AND HE SAID NORMALY QUIET
IN THE EVENING. WHAT A SHAME.......

mmm, what can i say. the landlord/barman/waiter/everything else seemed under pressure and really struggled with it. the food was very average and seemed like it was cooked for the army in mass, presentation was as if "slapped on the plate". potential good, finishing poor.

Immaculately kept beer. Only tapped when ready. Yeovil Glory was drinking well. Excellent fresh meat and perfectly cooked vegetables. The kidneys were the best I have ever tasted. Good local walking but for those who like their grass cut short there is a golf course over the back fence.

Reopened recently after being closed for a while. Good food and beers with very friendly and helpful service.
Deserves much more custom than it's getting at the moment.
