| The White Hart is a large stone built pub / hotel / restaurant in a quiet location opposite Lydgate church. The bar serves a good selection of regular and guest real ales and they are kept well - thus it's a regular entry in Camra's good beer guide. The food is high quality and the chefs have won awards (so expect the prices to reflect this). The staff are generally friendly, unlike the majority of the customers who appear to be ten bob millionaires who all look down their noses at each other.
