| Called in on a Standish and North Wigan crawl. What an improvement, 2 years ago was run down, since then refurbed completely. Clean and bright, staff friendly, and cheap food (range of meals @ �2.99) 4 cask beers on as I recall, all Marstons/Jennings range. Jennings Bitter and Cumberland both on good form. �2.35 a pint and had a promotion on, "Ask for Cask" with loylaty card, buy 4 pints of cask and get the 5th free until 1st March. | Went in for first time in 20 yrs (Dec 09). Seems recently totally refurbished & was very clean. Chap behind the bar was friendly and enthusiastic. Cask bitter was superb but was extremely expensive, so i won't be becoming a regular. freddy12 - 5 Jan 2010 19:41 |
