Absolutely 10 times better than when I last visited. The beer selection is great now and the craft beers are gorgeous. This place is now worth a visit once again.

Now an ember inns pub serving 8 real ales, a craft beer from purity and a couple of ciders. Different decor but still the same type of food. Cask club on monday £2.49 and 20p off for camra members. A bit safe on the real ale side and I would like to see some local beers on cask given the fact that they have 8 hand pulls.

Grand looking pub from the outside but a shade disappointing once inside. Sets its stall out for diners with a menu as long as your arm. Beers are from the excellent Hornbeam Brewery (in Denton) but the in-house quality is variable. Sorry, not for me.

Coincidental that swifts and kip2011 both have recent, multiple, positive comments? I doubt it.

What the hell was that last comment about? It sounds like your selling a house! A pub that sells food that is a bit poncy if you ask me and you don't feel comfortable drinking in there. At least they have s couple of real ales on but they are both from hornbeam. More variety on that part.
