In here last Saturday just after 2.00 pm and I thought that had been a power failure.
There wasn’t a light on in the house.
Just 3 others and a young boy were all sitting at the bar chatting to the barman (Landlord?)
They have 3 hand pulls but only Kent’s Best was on. Had the clip for Masterbrew turned round and the other was blank.
So we had to have a pint of the former which was not very nice bordering on sour tasting.
At £3.50 a pint I wasn’t going to have another one.

A brilliant pub with excellent helpful staff, a lovely warm family environment, after visiting this pub, I decided with its large area, and comfortable seating of sofas and armchairs, that it was the ideal venue for our engagement party.
The landlord and landlady couldn't do enough for us, so helpful, with additional separate function room, where food could be kept and an in house dj made planning very easy. Large car park so everyone could park and very close to public transport for those who didn't drive.
The kind staff worked very hard to make our night perfect.
Would definitely use this pub for functions again, and would feel more then comfortable coming here alone, as there is such a warm welcome when you arrive.

Disappointing pub. The ex-WMC layout has not been overcome: with masses of open space it appears there is not enough furniture in the place! It is rather characterless. Service was efficient and a pint of Master Brew was in good nick. However a pint of Whitstable Bay was poor.

A rather runexpected find on our cycle trip from Sheerness to West Malling. Although a large pub, it was very quiet on the sunday eveing when we visited. Poor selection of Ales, Master Brew is not one of my favourites, but tolerable nonetheless. The other half found the lager not to her taste either. Comfortable seating area by the large tele. All in all a below average pub, but would visit again next time I am in Ditton

Although they have been as guilty as any of selling off pubs for resdiential development, full credit to Shepherd Neame for turn Ditton WMC into a proper pub, with the usual range of SN ales and beers. Small beer garden at the expense of a large car park, nice patio area at the front, cosy fireplace, and additional stage and eating areas. Only time will tell if this large and clean venue develops a good pub atmosphere.
