| The Bridge Inn, at one end of town on the River Tweed, is probably the beer pub in town. There were 4 handpumps, two of which were Stewart Brewery beers (IPA and a darker beer), Hadrian & Border's Byker Light and one other I can't remember. | Enjoyed the Taylor Landlord in this Good Beer Guide pub. It was the only real ale on from the 4 pumps there, but maybe that is usual for a Tuesday if it is not busy midweek. Quiet at lunchtime. gillhalfpint - 16 Aug 2009 17:48 |
