| Bit isolated on A479 couple of miles outside Talgarth. Dropped in for a beer and an evening meal as recommended by a local. Steaks arrive at the table on hot lava stones, and you cook them yourself to your liking. Sounds gimmicky but works really well. I had a fantastic fillet of venison, friends had rump steak, veggie curry, steak and ale pie, all very good. | This pub has just changed landlords so I was a bit worried about how it would change, happily there was nothing to worry about. The meat is locally sourced and amazing. I would definitely recommend the venison steak.
