Nice clean pub, too many youngsters for my liking though.

A very quainte and charming pub, darts monday, pocker wednesday nights, live music friday nights. A very welcoming and family friendly atmosphere, with very attentive bar staff who will always be happy to answer any questions or meet your requirements. The pub has two dogs, which are friendly. The land lady is very lovely and will always make time for her customers. The guy who i met, who was working behind the bar is the sex.

A good locals and regulars pub in Gosport. The Guinness was in very good condition. No problems in getting the jukebox turned up full blast, despite England v Egypt being on the Flatscreen. Evidence of a recent quality makeover, bringing the place in line with modern pub standards. Good pool table to the rear of the room and patio area for smokers. Poker league meeting with poker tables was a rare sight. Attentive and friendly bar staff even when busy. All in all, worth a visit if in the area.

The Barley Mow is now totally refurbished to a bright and modern family friendly local. Real Ale, real food & live music. - Please come along and meet us before judging us on the previous occupiers!!! - Tracie - Landlady Barley Mow
