Before the refit the bar was in a stupid place. After the refit the bar has been moved - to an equally stupid place. Can be horrendously busy on weekends with places to stand without being barged into or have your drink spilt very rare. Food is very good though and has Sky Sports so a lot of live sport in there. Good place to start a tour of Yarm if you can't be arsed with the walk over the bridge from the Blue Bell.

Really good night on a sat before hitting the keys, good shots and pitchers. Nice bit of eye candy behind the bar too - Shaved head cheeky smiler - i want your babies!!!!!

Since the 're-shuffle' I've been about twice. The bouncers made me take my hat off, which was pretty annoying as it is a pub and not a club. However with all the fancy lighting a club effect is created!Good for Sport, but a little bit pricey.

The Ketton Ox was re-branded earlier this year to a Smith &
Jones, concentrating on footie, sport etc., but not a very successful transformation - half the bar-size there used to be,
cramped and dingy in places.
Pricey,too.
Not recommended - 4 out of 10, I'm afraid.
