This place is awesome. And I mean awesome. The owners and staff are great people and the locals are fantastic too. They all welcome you with open arms. I came from Canada to visit London and spent every evening there. Boy, I miss it there. Clever_trevor - 15 Jan 2015 04:30 |
Pleasant enough pub. I never even noticed the cat, though I don't care for them! malo66 - 21 Jun 2010 15:53 |
This basic estate like pub had a good atmosphere on my recent visit and I found the barmaid to be very polite. There is no real ale, but there is a standard draught selection and my Guinness was very well served. There is a plasma screen and Sky Sports is shown and there is also a pool table and a dartboard found at the rear. The walls are adorned with framed front pages of newspapers charting the modern history of the USA which I found quite interesting in a nothing better to do kind of way. I would have stayed longer as I liked it in here, but unfortunately there is a pub cat that was strutting up and down the bar and Im allergic to the pesky little things.
