Popped in here, was attracted by sign that indicated that they sold beer from the US. now I don't expect it to be cheap BUT if a beer is £9 for a small bottle then I expect to be told before they take the lid off so that I can make an informed choice. Not the case here. Further inspection of beer menu confirmed that they charge £2 plus more for beers that you can get elsewhere. This pub thinks its in central London clearly. One to avoid, you can get similar beers more reasonably at the Sun Hotel or at the Borough

Nice enough Hyde's pub with well-kept beer and a pleasant enough ambience. A pub quiz was about to start when I left. A little lacking in atmosphere, for my money, and I wouldn't rush back. OK though.

Visited this pub last night on a pub crawl of Lancaster, only 5 mins from the station this Hydes pub is a great place to call in and have a few beers before nipping over the road to the John O Gaunt.

The atmosphere was a little dull but it was late when we called in... the place was clean, well kept and the bar staff were friendly. The Hydes beer was really well kept and I could have sampled a couple of more but sadly our train was due.... I would recommend this pub as a starting place to then move onto and then maybe call in for a swift one before getting the train again... well worth a visit !!

A newish place, seems ok beer is reasonable, disappointing food though listening to the other patrons. Good place for a few evening jars I believe.
