| This for many years was a quality boozer. I grew up just down the road and when I was a nipper my Mum worked behind the bar which meant I spent a lot of time in the place. When I was of a drinking age I continued to visit regularly especially during the reign of Spike and Tash with Spike's food pretty legendary. Unfortunately due to its location trade started to suffer and it has now been demolished and is a recycling plant. I will remember 'The Bully' very fondly. thegaffer - 26 Mar 2011 08:00 |
