user reviews of the Ranch House, Morecambe

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

On approach, this place looks like an amusement arcade. Inside, it's quite large and has an American feel as mentioned by previous reviewers. However the selection and quality of the beers was fairly good - White Horse Village Idiot, Ranch House Bitter & Harviestoun Number of the Beast. Cider was Westons Old Rosie. Worth a try.

This is the weirdest pub in the GBG i have been in its a cross between Charlie Chalks playground and a Wild West Ranch its tacky, dirty and the beer is terrible which isnt a suprise as when i was in on a saturday afternoon there was only 1 other person in there so the beer doesnt get drunk as quick as it should i guess.

Strange old tacky building, didnt feel like a "good beer guide" listed pub.The Tom Wood's Old Timber was drinkable, but not worthy of bein in the GBG, 5.5/10

Very cheap drinks but it feels like you're at a holiday camp with loads of kids running riot due to the adjoining amusement arcades. I came here years ago and there was a C & W band on complete with pistol shooting competition but no sign of that this time around.
