user reviews of the Harrow, Chessington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

As I went past the pub to day it was being demolished with half the building already gone. I remember "The Harrow" in its heyday when it was a proper pub. The majority of its clientele came from the government estate across the road, but this has long gone, hence the decline.

Another Chessington pub under threat. Planning application submitted for demolition and another block of flats plus one retail unit. If it succeeds lets hope the unit might be a replacement pub. Not holding my breathe on that one.

Staff friendly enough, they do have some decent special offers- Bulmers 2.50 a bottle is ok. I think this outlet is worthy of a 7. As Arnie would say "I'll Be Back"

Quite a large pub but about half is taken up by a restaurant. The bar lounge is small so it gets crowded around the bar and it tends to get smokey. Only 1 real ale, Courage Bitter. Large car park for those that are driving.
