| Totally agree the food is fab. Char is the best cook up there. The new owners are great and very friendly. It is a shame that they took Sky away as it has become very quite, but a nice place to pop in and have a quiet drink and a bite to eat. lushlou - 30 Oct 2009 15:15 |
| We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always first class (it's probably one of only pubs in the area where if you order a rare or medium rare steak, you will get it as ordered) but be warned that sometimes, due to staff sickness, food is withdrawn, not often, but sometimes. They have closed off one side of the pub recently which has withdrawn the pool table and the dart board from customer use which is a shame. I used to stop by the pub for a few drinks after work for a few pints and a few games of pool... They have also withdrawn the Sky TV which can be either good or bad depending on your view.
