| back in the seventies this pub was called the Oxford Arms, and a pub round the corner in Blackfriers road was called the Flowers,in the early eighties about two years before they demolished the Blackfries pub they swapped names, I never did find out why, have popped in here occaisionally when doing the rounds in SE1, and as I recall nothing spectacular, just an average locals pub vinnnie - 21 Aug 2009 13:41 |
