This is a lovely 17c inn, in the middle of nowhere. I had my Saturday lunch here, the food and beer was superb as was the service. Top man Andy!!

Nice pint of the local Andwell King John bitter today. Friendly staff and I shall return to sample the food soon!

My husband, daughter and I visited this lovely old pub on a Sunday afternoon for a smashing roast dinner. They were very busy, but attentive to our needs. Although our first visit, we were made to feel like locals by the hard working young couple Andy and Lyn who run the pub. Their daughter even played with my daughter while they worked. This is a very "family" pub. I can recommend a visit to anyone lookig for a place to feel welcome.

Visitied Thursday evening with a few mates, we had a very good pint of Ringwood Fortyniner (4.9%) as well as locally brewed (North Warnborough) Andwell King John at 4.2%. Food served, with reasonably priced menu although we were only there for the beer. Top-rated barmaid (Claire).

Inn adjacent to Winchfield Station - a commuter railway station in the middle of nowhere!
Great pub, with well kept ales, excellent food and a very broad menu - including excellent vegetarian selection. Used mainly by commuters - often quiet at weekends, so great for impromptu meals out on busy summer weekends.
