My partner and I stayed at Seiners for a wonderful weekend of exploring the local area. The staff were all very attentive and well trained. The views from the hotel are the very best i've had in Cornwall (and i've had a few!) the food was delicious and beer was first rate. I'll definitely be staying at Seiners again!

I too got taken in by this place. It looks so good but fails to deliver. Much better places to eat and drink in town, and far better places to stay further along the coast.

Don't be misled by the wonderful situation of this pub, The beer is undrinkable, the food uneatable and the service un-thinkable.

Apart from its location, which is fantastic, everything else about this place is third rate, not least the sour faced battleaxe of a manager and the rest of the staff.
We booked a table for 8:30 after being told that they stopped serving food at 9:00, but when we went to eat at about 8:20 we were told by the sixteen year old school girl (who seemed to be the only person serving behind the bar) that the kitchen was not taking any more orders because they were sooo busy. I doubt if there were more than 20 people in the place.
I told her that we were residents and had booked a table, but all she could suggest was going to a nearby rival pub, where the food was better anyway.
It turns out that this is one of those pubs where the service is so bad it takes longer to buy the beer than it does to drink it, and that's saying something because the beer's not exactly great either.
Spent 3 nights here, and did a runner on the last morning. I've never done this before, but it seemed to be my duty to do so here.
Even so, although we paid nothing for our stay, I can't help feeling that we still got poor value for money. I was even going to complain.

Fantastic setting, but the service is terrible and the food even worse.
