| I worked in this pub in the early to mid nineties when it was known as the Jolly Brewer. I remember it being an outstanding pub that catered for all 'across the board', the Landlord was a man called Frank, an outstanding man who ran a great ship. | This pub has just reopened under new management. I was walking past the other day and noticed a sign for a quiz on Wednesday night. I am a fan so decided to try it out with my girlfriend. A lot of fun. Being new, it could use a few more teams, but the atmosphere was very laid back, and the quizmaster was loud and funny.
