user reviews of the Royal Arms, Sutton Cheney

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Have been coming here for the past 3 years and it has got better on each visit. The guest beers are outstanding; my husband and I are CAMRA members and strongly suggest Thr Royal Arms should enter themselves into the Good Beer Guide, not for the volume of beer, but the quality they serve.
Service - fantastic
Food - Outstanding; beats anyone in the area (and we eat out a lot!)
Since coming here the Management really have made this place a real hidden secret!

Declined a lot over 18 months. Menu reduced a lot, slow service and HIGH prices. Pity, used to be a decnt venue for customers wanting something upmarket and special

We went for a family meal to this place for my mums 60th birthday and would not wish the food on anyone. The prices are horrendous and the service is diabolical. Its new owners seem to care more about the posh motors they own and less about the customers. Our bill came to 189 for 6 people and they had the cheek to say we were 40p short, we were embarassed and will not darken their doors again. Beware!

A large pub with ample parking space, and well sign posted. Serves food all day from breakfast to lunch, dinner and evening meals. Well staffed and also has rooms to book. From simple one bed to luxury four poster beds.
