This aint a bad pub. Its not the nicest place to be i'd be the first to admit that. Not a bad pub, it seems rough but ive never seen a fight. I agree with the landlord thing that fella under me has said, not friendly.

Jukebox is prettttty awesome! I met a reallly cool barmaid there once,

Beer is expensive. wouldn't be my first choice but If im in town and need a beer and its there why not.
so I'll give it a thumbs up just dont expect too much.

This pub, just as it was when I last came here about 20 years ago, is objectively rubbish. Nobody needs to return here. And that includes the regulars. And the landlord, come to that.

This side of the Headrow really needs to up its game. Poor.

Nothing special at all to report about this place. Has the appearance, the air, and the customers of a 1970's establishment firmly stuck in the past. An average selection of average beer, a big screen, fruit machines and the rest. Hoagy's simply seems to exist to serve those already firmly entrenched as it's own regulars. For the rest of us, it's too close to better bars to warrant a further visit if you're passing, and it seems a matter of time before the likes of Hoagy's are a thing of the past. Which in this case, is a good thing.

Its a double level pub. Downstairs is a friendly atmosphere with modern and varied music, upstairs is a really friendly pool bar which is mainly a rock crowd but everyone is welcome.
Really good bar food available.
