| Friendly atmosphere and staff, but the interior decor was �interesting� when I was last there, was a mix of a traditional pub style with beams, log fire etc.. Yet is mixed with an attempt at being a trendy bar, not sure it works all that well, feel it should be one or the other. The important thing is the beer, but unfortunately no hand pumps last time I checked, not great, meant having to have pints of John Smiths or lager. Overall not great but certainly not awful, only worth a visit if on a crawl and only have to have a couple of jars!! cannon1882 - 27 Aug 2006 17:04 |
