user reviews of the Blue Junction, Morden

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Dined in here tonight upon recommendation of several of my customers - First impressions weren't positive, reminded me of yet another Indo-Gastro-Pub that is run more by the locals than the management - then I tasted the food and it changed my opinion, if you could do a split review, food would get 9.5/10.. despite my missus embarassing herself with a feeble attempt at the mixed grill. If I saw this place as a restaurant, I'd start to moan about the footy being on all the screens, but the Blue Junction seems to be a pub that does food rather than an indian restaurant, so I've got no complaints there - it's fitting with the majority of their clientele.

I frequented this pub recently and met the strangest couple in the world, a small little bald man who smells a bit and an old birmingham brass who looks like his mother. They will bore the tits off you.

Nicely decorated bar with good Indian food, slightly pricey for Morden. Big flat screens everywhere showing brainless rubbish spoil the ambience. No real dark beer only lager.

Went on a thursday night, and it was very quite. Was informed by the bar staff that they would be closing at 2230hrs, was this because of the lack of clientel?

Nice looking bar, certainly swishest looking one around these parts, didnt have time to try the wine, but had a canny pint of cobra.

Will be back.

Open till 2am on Fri and Sat!!
Great lounge music, and fab Indian Tapa's food, along with a nice lunch selection. Nice and cosy with a great bar. They also screen sports for the lads.
