So so place hidden in a back street up a very steep slope.

It may have been the time of day (it was early) so the place was lacking a bit.
The interior is pleasant but this place is gonna have it's work cut out to compete with the upteen number of pubs in this town.

This pub has been given a new lease of life, and is now more pub/wine bar and is much better for it, the interior is now far more welcoming as is the atmosphere. A good place to chill out and relax.

Good beer, character but very hot and stuffy. Sadly also felt like you were being viewed with suspicion and listened to a lot if you were not local. Persisted with going in as it was on the way home to where I was living at the time. Steep climb to it though and no outisde space.

A pleasant character pub in a back street not far from the harbour, but off the tourist trail. If you really feel like visiting Brixham (though heaven knows why you'd want to), it's not a bad place to search out. In summer there are makeshift tables and benches in the parking spaces outside with a delightful view of, err, the main town car park (soon to be Tesco's, we're told). Insufferably noisy on Saturday nights.

Not very much special about the pub itself, but the people there made it well worth the visit! Great fun and lots of atmosphere! Visit if you are in Brixham - if not go to Brixham and visit!
