| Popped in for a drink with friends a couple of Saturdays ago, but many tables had been cleared away to make room for a dancefloor in front of the DJ desk which meant standing room only. | The Vestry has definitely inherited the spirit of the Hogshead, it used to be a really quiet, boring pub but now it buzzes at the weekends, there's cracking music and it's big enough to enjoy a night out with a large group of friends. The queues can be a bit frustrating though, especially when it sometimes seems that the bouncer is letting his friends in in front of everyone else...perk of the job I suppose.
