A miserable crappy pub in a concrete jungle of flats. Staffed by gormless unenthusiastic eastern european types with no ability or knowledge. It's youngs so the beer is always going to be poor despite the high prices. Halfway through my pint of Youngs bitter my guts started to complain and I had to dash to the bogs, no mean feat as they are some distance away, but just about made it. I had to break into (vandalise) the toilet roll holder in order to get any arse wipe. Needless to say I didn't finish the pint and will not return.

Youngs pub on the waterfront. A pint of Youngs gold was £4.15, which is either expensive or cheap depending on where you normally drink! The spirits were expensive, but by signing up to their newsletter you got a free drink. My email confirmation came through in 10 mins. Pleasant enough but a bit soulless

Still a nice, smart modern pub, nicest when at its quietest.
Some drinks are very steep - I was amazed to receive a receipt on which a double G&T was itemised as 2 singles and a mixer, total £9.60

Charmless and souless on the inisde, nice view on the outside - on a sunny day! Unfortuantely, I came in here to get out of the rain. Wish I got soaked instead now. Ordered a pint of Young's London Gold. It was completely tastless due to having a policy of 'no beer can be served too cold'. If you like to taste your ale, go to the nearby Morpeth Arms just over the bridge instead.

Went to the Riverside today for lunch, was very dissappointing, service quite poor, all three choices we made for lunch were off the menu and what we eventually had didn't offer value for money at all. Also, I would agree with other comments re prices on drinks, whilst the location is nice being on the river, Youngs have got it wrong here.
