| Fairly average pub a few minutes walk from Monkseaton metro station. There is a dining room on one side and a public bar to the other. Tables were all laid out in the dining room. But despite this no food was being served. There are 4 handpumps in all - 2 in each room, with no apparent notice stating what is in the other room. The 4 ales on my visit were Marstons Pedigree, Robinsons Beerdo, Wells Bombardier Burning Gold & Exmoor Hound Dog. They were all fairly pale ales.
