Visited as I was stuck in New Romney for a night. Dire, characterless place full of morose people - most were drinking bottles of Corona or lager when I visited. Ale was poorly kept. Nearest half decent pub is at Ivychurch.

decent no frills pub with good food and well kept ale, was a bit quite when we where in on a Tuesday evening with just a few locals playing darts, so it lacked a bit of atmosphere, bur the Directors was spot on and the food was home made staple pub grub,

Pleasant small-town pub with a good welcome and OK-ish food, probably the best place to go in New Romney for a decent pint in convivial surroundings. I had a very well-kept pint of White's "Dark" and would be delighted to come back for more.

A welcoming little pub at the end of New Romney High Street.

The pub is divided into two bars and a restaurant, which have all been recently decorated.

There isn't a huge selection of real ales, but what they do have is of a consistently high quality.

They are also the only pub for miles that serves the wonderful Budvar lager... Brilliant stuff!

There is a large garden and patio to the rear which are always well used in the summer months, and where occassional entertainment is held.

I haven't eaten here for years, but the smell from the kitchen is always good and the prices are very reasonable.

Overall, definitely one of the better pubs in the area!
