| Good value carvery twice in the week and a three course Sunday Lunch. Seldom has real ale and its usually the dreaded Doombar but most people come here to eat proper pub food. Better quality food than in Wetherspoon at a similar price. The keg and bottle choices are very unimaginative in this day and age. | Has been opened up and is now one large room. It's L shaped so still has a multi roomed feel. The back part of the pub is now a restaurant with a carvery/grill style menu. The front part of the pub still has a pool table. Three handpumps on the bar but all badged with Salopian Shropshire Gold. Had a pint of this which was fine. Not bad. ROBCamra - 19 Dec 2008 09:32 |
