| Sorry, but I don't have very nice things to say aout this particular pub. I visit a a lot of pubs, normally on a Sunday to have lunch. I always look for reccommendations on your site, which so far have proved invaluable. However the Blue Boys Inn is not mentioned in your lists, and so I hope it can be added...even if it is to tell potential visitors how bad it is. The Blue Boys is by far the worst I have pub I have ever been to, in terms of quality of food, selection of beers and wines, and service. The food was overpriced, and really quite appalling. The steak was like a piece of old leather and the home made steak and kidney pie was more like tinned dog food! The manager was unneccesarily rude and unhelpful. All in our party of 6 were dissapointed with the food and beer in this pub. To make it worse, 15% service charge was added to our bill even though there was no mention of this on the menu or anywhere else! To all potential visitors - avoid this pub LIKE THE PLAGUE!
