On holiday from England and had an amazing day enjoying in Stirling. Myself and my friends popped in for a meal. Before we ordered a meal somebody at another table complained about poor quality fish. I was shocked by the rudeness of the chef who made marco pierre white like tame! He was overly and unneccasirly rude. It left me with the impression that this venue is sub standard and would not recommned it to anyone. Some customer care would not get a miss and could start by sacking the chef. For a great day out in Stirling - AVOID THIS PUB

Some of the staff were lovely but the food was rubbish. Shouldnt really complain about that though as it was very cheap and you get what you pay for. I was put off by the decor (its completely bare and they have partly laid some cheap laminate) but I was mostly repelled by the way the manager/ owners/ people in charge were talking to staff. There was a man shouting at the top of his voice at someone in the kitchen and it made everyone very uncomfortable.I would advise anyone to steer well clear- its a dive.

Having just enjoyed a visit to the excellent castle, what better place to rest your weary legs. The An Teallach beer was spot on and the young lad behind the bar very welcoming and very informed about his beers. I fancy coming back to stay sometime. Well done!
