A very doable local pub of the Greene King ilk, managed by friendly young Irish guy who kept everyone well served. Beer selection still not inspired having three on offer; Greene King IPA, Abbott and one guest beer. The Abbott was in good condition. On the other hand good variety on the menu. I tried a straight forward gammon steak, two eggs and chips which was fine.
Not a destination pub but if you're around the area, worth looking in.

Some people are very hard to please. This is a great little pub. The beer is fine though it is an uninspired selection and the food is worthy of the trip alone. Warm and welcoming.

I had to make myself a member just to put the record straight about The Bell! It's had new owners take it over in the last few months, and it is far better than these reviews make out. Yes, it will always be a little village pub, but the landlord is friendly, the drinks fine, and the food excellent - epsecially the pan-fried fish and chips and the (huge) cheese ploughmans. It's not the sort of place you're going to make a trip to, as it is so far off the beaten track, but if you find yourself in Kemsing, do pop in - it's far nicer than the pub directly opposite, which is always full of kids and I find slightly intimidating... Worth a look, tell them I sent you.

Whilst I agree with the previous comments, that the pub is lacking a bit in character/atmosphere, I would add that I've been in far worse pubs with a far higher rating.

It's a much better pub than a 4.7

I'm gonna give it a 7/10 to help boost the rating a little.

Greene King pub of no character. Old people's wing chairs in clean and tidy but antiseptic front room create the only interesting feature in the place. It has been converted just too far. Very average.
