Excellent pub, friendly staff, decent beer. Games room downstairs is excellent for private parties. Definitely the best pub in the area.

Nice little boozer, decent pint of Bombardier, friendly staff, had The Cure on when I went in and The Smiths shortly afterwards so no complaints there. Apparently has a pool room to hire downstairs. Definitely a step up from the usual pubs in the area.

Never felt the need to write a review before but I just can't get enough of this place. If your're bored with the drudgery around Liverpool St look no further. Great music and good food not like the identical menu in every other pub.

Friendly down to earth staff and a laid back manager (Glyn). A place you can stay in all night without feeling the need to find some atmosphere 'cos it's already there.

Even walked out without paying my tab one night and sheepishly returned the next day to a "no worries here's the bill settle now"!!!!!!

If your in the area check it out you will not be dissapointed.

Love the Bell, welcoming friendly atmosphere and its a good looking bar inside.
the new games room downstairs is ace for pool and wii nights. the owner is working his ass off to make it a success and it seems to be paying off

THIS PUB HAS NOW CHANGED ITS NAME. It is the Bell and has Bobardier & Courage Best on tap. Fabulous food - great veggie sausages & excellent staff. The manager came up to me to explain that the veggie sausages are so like meat ones in texture, appearance etc that I shouldn't be worried and that they are organic & totally vegetarian. Lunchtime crowd made up of mixture of local office workers and officers from the local nick. TV had BBC news with the sound turned down. Chilled out and groovy vibe. Loved it.
