As a long time drinker in Darlo, The reviews for this pub are out of date, This is one of the best pubs in town.

If your a local, or if your new to town, then you should visit this Pub! Everyone's friendly, welcoming, I've had some good nights in there, and am glad to be able to recomend it!

Slightly shabby, back-street Darlo pub that looks worse from the outside than the inside. I assume it gets busy on a weekend but, mid-week, it's ok for a quiet drink. Like the nearby Hogan's it could do with something cask, although the Magnet is fairly drinkable and very cheap.

Cracking pub, was up from London for a few days and came across it whilst walking around from the station, had a pint on a friday night.

Was made to feel very welcome. They had Karaoke on and everyone was getting into the swing of it!

Very reasonable drinks prices, definatly recomend!

I can echo the sentiments of the other reviewer entirely. Unless you've got more "sov" rings than teeth by a factor of at least 3 to 1, RUN AWAY. But NOT to Hogans.

Rough `sky footie` type pub, full by day and night with the terminally unemployed, kack toothed and broken nosed. Best avoided if looking for a quiet pint. Still, a better option than Hogans up the road.
