Enjoyed a few pints of Old Cannon Best Bitter in the bar, while staying at the hotel. The ale was well-kept and there is a relaxing atmosphere here . Very good accommodation.

Place seems to change it's image every 5 years or so! trouble is it never seems to be a place that you want to visit. Beer selection has always been lame too.

Cheap carvery food but a bit difficult to deal with - if you park in their carpark, you have to 'register' your car with their reception to avoid it being clamped ! and the last time I went there, I was asked abruptly as I stepped through the door by a woman with a clipboard if I was 'eating or just drinking?' and they don't sell Guinness - only Murphy's.

More of a hotel and carvery now. They seem to discourage casual drinkers (not a bad thing in Letchworth). Good value for money food though, a great place to take Granny for Lunch on a sunday

Poncy. Fancies itself as more than it is. Probably alright for impressing 'high-maintenance' types.
