| Passing through Mobberley and came across this place. Have to admit, was really impressed. Its a Timothy Taylors pub these days and the prices reflect that accordingly. Typical country pub, darts, food served, popular with the locals etc. Bar staff and landlady very friendly and made us feel welcome considering we'd never been in before. | Lovely pub but never quite seems to make it. Last good landlord was Andy Towers some years ago who had it very good. Obvious schism with brewery relationship and he went. AVerage ever since. Hopefully it will recover one day. high.standards.required - 3 Oct 2007 21:48 |
