| Lovely pub! My girlfriend and I were driving through the Witney area this Saturday just gone and stopped in the George and Dragon. Staff were very friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere. We ordered a few nibbles from the British tapas section of the menu and everything was excellent, and apparently they offer a half price deal on the tapas Monday-Wednesday so I'm sure we'll be back again soon! | Sunday Roast was reasonably priced for a country pub and the other items on the menu were pricey but the portions were enormous. Staff friendly. Had three real ales. Only tried the Eagle as I'd not had this before, though this was nothing to shout about. oxford_hasher - 26 Sep 2010 16:48 |
| this is a brilliant pub/restaurant, excellent food, very welcoming, brilliant friendly staff, excellent menu choice very varied, very good specials sheet, very quick service, very good quality food, big helpings, a little too big for me but still enjoy it very much, very good ambience, very clean, good selection of drinks, my most favourite place to go day or evenings. speckle10 - 29 Mar 2009 18:43 |
